Pebble Beach Golf Cart Incident

Five individuals were injured as a result of a golf cart operating on its own at Pebble Beach on June 14, 2019.  Initial reports indicate that a golf cart began to operate on its own and spun in circles near the concessions at the 2019 Masters Tournament.

Law Offices of Ara Jabagchourian, P.C. has begun an investigation into the incident.  Law Offices of Ara Jabagchourian, P.C. has also enlisted the assistance of a nationally based law firm who secured a record-setting $15.8-million product liability verdict against a company that manufactures golf carts for a defective kick-off brake system it had on one of its golf cart models.  In that case, the victim became paralyzed when the family’s cart started and took off with no one in it.  According to court records, the company that manufactured the cart knew about the potential runaway danger before the design of the vehicle in 1998 but took no action to change the design.
