Ara Jabagchourian

Ara Jabagchourian is a trial attorney with vast experience in numerous areas of civil law. He has handled hundreds of matters to successful resolution, either through settlement or verdict.

Jabagchourian’s trials range from small personal injury matters to a class action fraud matter exceeding $100 million verdict, and numerous cases in between. He provides each case his full attention, skill and passion, which has resulted in fantastic results for his clients.

His verdicts have been recognized as some of the highest and most impactful in the country, and his results have been recognized by peers and judges as extraordinary. Prior Experience

Jabagchourian started his legal career as a staff attorney for the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition in Washington D.C. handling antitrust matters. He then worked for a large firm representing numerous companies in antitrust, intellectual property and commercial disputes. Ara then went on to work for a plaintiff oriented law firm, where as partner, he handled over a hundred matters to completion.

Jabagchourian also served as a judicial extern for two Justices. He worked for both Associate Justice Marvin R. Baxter of the California Supreme Court as well as Presiding Justice James Ardaiz of the California Court of Appeals, Fifth Appellate District.

Notable Trials and Cases

Jabagchourian has several notable cases to his name. He was lead counsel in a class action Ponzi scheme matter out of Fresno County, which result in a $114.5 million verdict. Massoyan v. HL Leasing, et al.

He also tried a wrongful death matter associated with a bicyclists that resulted in the highest single death verdict in San Diego County history.  Mazurek v. American Medical Response

Jabagchourian was also represented nearly five dozen households in the PG&E pipeline explosion resulting in eight deaths and over three dozens homes destroyed.  In re San Bruno Fire

He was also appointed by a Los Angeles County judge to be liason counsel for the listing of the Princess Cruise Line ship off the coast of Florida, resulting in hundreds of injuries.  In re Crown Princess.
