The Law Offices of Ara Jabagchourian, P.C. filed a lawsuit against the County of Santa Clara related to the wrongful death of 86 year old Eugene Craig as his wife, Harue Craig, age 90, hid behind him. Deputies stormed the Saratoga home of the Craigs as they conducted a “welfare check” on the elderly couple. However, Mr. Craig was shot dead as he believed the deputies were intruders and sought to protect his wife with a .38 revolver. The case was filed in the United States District Court, Northern District of California in San Jose.
