PG&E / Utility Injury / Fire

Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) has a recent rash of huge disasters resulting in scores of people being injured and killed.  These include the gas line explosions in San Bruno, Carmel, Cupertino and Fresno.  The evidence in these cases have demonstrated a corporate culture that has placed profits or safety.  There has been numerous injuries and extensive property damage arising from the utility company’s negligence.

The gas line cases have consistently shown that PG&E does not know what pipes are where.  This poor record keeping has resulted in a failed maintenance program that has placed many California residents’ lives at stake.

Outside of its gas transmission business, PG&E has also failed in safety in regard to its electric transmission business.  Reports have been indicating that the various North Bay fires were as a result of PG&E’s negligence in maintenance of its electrical lines and the vegetation around them.

The attorneys at the Law Office of Ara Jabagchourian, P.C. have been involved in all of the gas explosion cases set forth above, as well as the North Bay fires.
